1995 Chevy S-10 I need help

Truck will not start unless I push start it, want to get opinion before I change starter. I've already checked battery and fuses

Hi, I'd have to check the circuits at the starter solenoid. The battery terminal is hot all the time. The S terminal goes hot with key in the start position. If good voltage at those terminals, I'd have to pull the starter. You need to make sure battery has a full charge and voltage and grounds are good. Any testing at the solenoid, make sure the tranny is out of gear and a functional e-brake is set.
