shocks do not actually have a set mileage interval or lifespan. the shocks can wear out differently depending on each individual's driving style, driving conditions, brand of shocks etc... some people choose to have their shocks replaced every time they have their tires replaced, around every 2-3 years. others prefer to replace them only once they begin creating noises or ride quality issues.
