Very common for it to be a faulty ignition switch
next time it happens be prepared and check for power at the S terminal at the starter solenoid
its the small wire as a helper holding ignition in start position for you to start
if no power suspect and check ignition switch if have power suspect flat spot on the starter and a bad starter
