The car acts like the battery is dead. I did notice when you bouce the car that the lights come back on and you can crank the car up. Also if you charge the battery it does better. It's very unreliable though. It left me sit and I had some friends come push me and when I put the car in Neutral it came back to life and I was able to put it in park and start it up. The battery is brand new, it almost seems like there is a short somewhere? I have a friend that is very mechanically inclined and he is stumped also. Thanks for your help.

Well the wires from the battery to the alternator to the starter has to be inspected, there could be corrosion inside the protected covering, or loosness. Also you said the car came back to life when you put it in neutral, check the neutral safety switch. And have the alternator tested for good measure
