Oil pressure of 35-40 psi is normal. Have a cooling-system pressure test done, as the radiator neck may be cracked where the overflow hose connects. For the idle miss, check for an SES light and stored codes; if none are present, consider a maintenance tune-up of the spark plugs and wires.
The owner of a 2000 Chevrolet Corvette with 69,000 miles asked whether 35-40 psi oil pressure was normal and also reported a coolant leak at the overflow hose under the radiator cap plus a miss at idle.
