I have a freshly rebuilt 355 ci. With maybe 2000 miles on it in the beginning we had a little carb. Problems of to much fuel and maybe washing of the rings it seems to go thru about 1qt. Every 100 miles wondering if there is any thing that can be done short of reringing?
thanks terry

First make sure you don't have bad valve seals. If they are ok, then you don't have much choice other than tearing it back down. You will probably need new rings and hone the cylinders. Be sure you get the proper cross hatch pattern too.
