My car died at a stop light on wednesday, had a new battery put in and the car started right up. I was told to have the alternator checked which I did and I was told it was fine. I didnt drive my car on saturday, I started it up today sunday and drove to the store on the way back I noticed the battery gauge going down. Now the car wont start, is the battery not a good one or do I need to have my alternator checked again?

Hi there,

Best have the battery load tested and re check the alternator charge rate, make sure that the battery terminals are clean & tight as are the engine & any chassis earths.
