1967 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic? Miles

Hi, my car will not stay running, as soon as I take the jumper cables off the positive pole from the car ive used to jump my camaro it dies almost instantly. Ive replaced the battery and had the alternator checked and the auto parts store said it was fine. Dont know what else to do. Thanks

Get the alternator reload tested and check the fusible links

My suggestion is to remove and clean the negative battery cable where it bolts to the engine, usually at the water pump. I believe the car cannot run because it does not have a ground for the spark.
