Auto Locking Hubs

I have a front wheel bearing going bad on my 89 K5 Blazer (350 with 4WD). The issue is finding information on the removal of the Auto Locking Hub. I have been unable to remove this unit and can find no information on this procedure. I don't want to screw something up and repairs become more expensive than they are already.

Thanks, Bryan

Hopefully this diagram will help. Remove the cap screws, remove the lock, remove bearing, remove retaining clip and guts as one piece. Clean and inspect the parts and replace as needed.

Also these hubs fail regularly so replacement is common.
