This blazer has a vortec. The fuel pressure wont stay at where it should it drops slowly all the way to 0 psi. I pulled the tank out to see it the pump had any problems it seems fine upon bench test. I changed the pressure regulator as well it stays running if I pour gas through the throttle body. Im at a loss but maybe a fresh mind can help me through the tunnel vision

Hello, what were the fuel pressure specs, did you use a gage? Do you have the spider fuel system?

Just for kicks, I have bench, no load tested pumps that I knew were faulty. I layed it on the bench, hooked up battery voltage--ground. I was surprised how much gas that little pump held, it throwed gas all over me and everything else, I only did that once. On that particular pump, the brushes were wore down to the nub. I can't tell you the pump is faulty without testing. One you build pressure by cycling the key, you might block or clamp the supply line somewhere, see if the pressure holds?

Is there a way to test my regulator? I tested with a gauge and it does not hold pressure but can that mean that the regulator is bleeding the fuel to the return line?

I thought that was a new regulator? You can block or clamp the return line, after you cycle the key. You shouldn't deadhead it more than a few seconds.
