1996 Chevy Blazer starting

Will not start unless you turn key on off very fast can not crank over or wont start or if you us starting fuilid it will then runs an starts fine unless it sits agine for a sort time it has fuel pressur at check point or if you crank it over it has plenty at check point but still doesnt start but when it does runs fine

Hi:
If it starts with starting fliuid, then the ignition is working fine. Have you checked for fuel pressure after the fuel pump? Also, if you crank it and it doesn't start, have you checked the spark plugs to see if they are wet with gas?

To me it could be a few different things. First, worn out or dirty fuel injectors, a clogged fuel filter, or just low engine compression.

Good compreshion plugs look fine has thee right fuel pressur new fuel filter had trotle body all apart an cleand will start if u just bump key on off very fast like do thee on off 3 times thing

When you turn the key and it doesn't start, is there a security light flashing on the dash? Is there any noise coming from the starter?

I need you to try something. When you first turn the key, you need to check the small wire going to the starter for power. It should have 12 volts when the key is in the start position (the first time). Let me know what you find.
