1993 Chevy Blazer Won't crank after fuel pump change

Quit on side of road. When fuel pump tested bad it was replaced. Vehicle cranked once and idled, was shut off and refused to crank again.

Do you hear the fuel pump come on for 2secs if so check the fuel pressure to rule the fuel filter and fuel pump and also if the injectors are pulsing if not test the fuel pump fuse and the fuel pump relay
