I have 1993 s10 Blazer 4.3 Vortex. Engine starts fine on the initial start of the day. But saying you went in the grocery store or any other store you may be in for around 40 min it won't start. I've found that if I release the fuel pressure from the stem where you check the fuel pressure it will start. I've replaced the fuel pump and filter with no results. And it's not the regulator I've put a new one of them as well. Did a fuel pressure check it as well is okay. What else Help me! Randy Davenport

When you checked the pressure, what was it? The only reason I ask is the pressure needs to be around 60 PSI which is much higher then most cars of this age.

If you are relieving the pressure and it starts then the only thing I can think is you may be getting some sort of vapor lock when the system is hot. This could be due to the return line being plugged so we need to start with the pressure when this is not starting.

If it is starting normally then it will not show any issues.

Below you will see the info from the system and how to check the pressure and spec on proper pressure.

Please let us know what you find with this and we can go from there. Thanks
