The charging system light has been coming on periodically for a year, after changing battery and being told alternator was good. Two weeks ago headlights, wipers, all electrical stopped working but car is still running. How long will this car run if it is the alternator?

It depends on battery reserve capacity rating. This is the time needed to lower battery terminal below 10.2 volts at a discharge rate of 25 amps at 80 degrees if battery is fully charge. That rating is given in minutes, so if the rating says ninety minutes, you have ninety minutes. There are so many variables, I would not depend on it.
