Hi,
I'm not sure I completely understand. You indicate that if you leave the key on for five minutes so the car can warm-up, then it won't start and you get a clicking.
When it warms up, is the engine running so it can warm up? Does it start normally if you don't allow the key to be on for five minutes?
I have to be honest. If you are allowing the key to be on and if the battery is weak at all, it may be enough to prevent it from having the power to engage the starter. A clicking usually indicates one of three things, a weak battery, a bad connection, or a faulty starter.
Do me a favor. I am going to provide three links that explain how to check each of the three things I mentioned. Try one at a time to see if everything checks good.

Try each of the things in the aforementioned links and let me know the results.
Take care,
Joe
