I was driving when I smelled something burnt I pulled over shut the van off and looked under the hood, very little light gray smoke was coming from the front. I went to go restart my van to take it home and it would not start. I can hear a clicking noise when I key the key over. What can be the cause and how do I go about fixing this problem?

It sounds like the alternator or battery is having a problem. Here are some guides that will help you do some checks and see which one it is.

and

once the engine is started do this test.

Please let us know what you find.
