My question is a simple one, but if ya don't know. Ya don't know, so I'm asking.
I recently purchased this car. It's excellent condition, just need normal maintenance items completed. I changed the oil and filter with no problems and reset the "DIC" for the engine oil to 100%.
Next I attempted to change the air intake filter which is mounted near the left headlight. The holder has two clips on the top of the filter holder. I loosened the two clips and thought that the air filter holder would come apart and I could change out the old filter with a new and close it up. That didn't happen. When I undone the two clips on top of the air filter holder.I couldn't get the cover open enough to get the air filter out. Am I overlooking something else which should be disconnected, or loosened to remove the old filter? I just got the car and am not familiar with it at this time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You will also need to loosen the clamp that holds the air intake hose to the throttle body. Remove the hose from the throttle body, then remove the air box cover by pulling outward and up. There are some small tabs on the bottom of the cover that can be difficult to disengage.
