Car will not start?

I had the same thing happen to me only my light came on while I was in the the line at burger king my temp light came on and before I could get out of line the car killed wouldnt start back up pushed it to a parking spot waited for someone to bring me some water and antifreeze waited a little while after refilling car started and was blowing out white smoke drove the car to my job and killed it waited a few hrs tried to start noticed the battery was dead and stater was gone changed both now car starts to turn over but wont start
