Hello, have you tried cranking in neutral? Is there a problem with the theft system? With the key in the crank position, can you check for good voltage at the S terminal on the solenoid?

How can you check the theft system and how do you check the solenoid wire. Does it have anything to do with the new starter?

Turn key on cross over the starter soleniod if starts. Some tines it cranks then cuts off that would b the theft there is a orange wire under the dash may have 2 remove the knee impact section it has a black plug. You will neeed 2 keys for the switch, get your spare key, get a lock clyinder from parts store, plug in the new wire to the other under the dash use ur spare key just stickin the slot. Take other key put in try 2 start it. If securty is the prob this should fix it. Bcareful of the new switch cause the wirse will break easliy, also check safty neutral switch on trans under brake booster follow the shifter cable its connected to it, also switch on the streeing cloum remove colum has box on top that thick wires go to make sure rod moves an switch is good.
