my blower motor does not always come on when the engine is started. Sometimes it will come on after about 3 minutes or occasionally when I hit a bump in the road, but this is not always the case. The problem is the same whether I turn on the air condition or the heater. A/C works though and I can feel cool air coming through the vents when I drive at highway speeds with the A/C on and the air recirculation in the off position.
The water pump was recently replaced because it was leaking coolant and overheated once. The mechanic told me the A/C and the water pump problem are probably related because Buick has a sensor that will not the A/C to work if the engine is running hot. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance,
Raymond
