My baby smoothly stalls in drive, no stumbling or idling down. It operates normally in park, neutral, and reverse. Two weeks before it started the car would intermittently stall when accelerating from a light. Before anyone suggests the tcc, is it possible for it to stall the engine in all drive gears and not in reverse.

Check it for trouble codes. It could be the MAF sensor. The tcc should stall in reverse also if it's bad.

The voltage readings from the maf were at 2.43 at idle, but drop to 2.35 with throttle applied. Is that normal?

If you look through the MAF sensor, is it really dirty or does it look like it's melted? If so, you should probably replace it.
