Break light

Break lights won't work. Everything else works except the break lights I replaced te switch by the pedel thinking it might be bad but no go. There was a white wire in the harness under the truck that lights up when te pedel is pressed but it wasn't hooked up to anything and I can't figure out we're it goes or if it is even supposed to be hooked up

check the ground on lh rear frame first then check to see if power is going to t/s switch the white wire that goes off of brake light switch should go to t/s switch that's probably why your lights don't work. it's probably broken off or cut
