I have the vehicle listed XLE. It has a lot of features upgraded from the base model like navigation, DVD player, heated seats, remote start and power lift gate. When the van sits for several hours, sometimes the battery is drained. Are these extra features draining the battery when not running?

Thank you

Yes, they could be if they are not wired up correctly, please follow this guide to get us started on finding out the problem, if the power leads for the accessories are easy to get at, I would start by removing them.

Where would I find the power leads for the accessories? I’m not sure if this could contribute to the battery dying but I also have an anti-theft red light that always blinks when the vehicle is off, and the power sliding doors do not work. Also, would simply removing the fuses for any of the accessories reduce battery drain?

Thank you
