The security light is the issue. It sounds like the BCM is going out. But first I would remove the BCM and check the connectors for corrosion which will cause the issue here is the location below. They call it an general control module BTW.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken

Dear,

Do you mean to check all these modules one by one? The car starting when it is cold and once parked will not start until one or two hours normally. Could you please explain what to check exactly instead of going through all these modules? Thanks

Please check the number 20 module only which controls the security system. Look at the connectors you will not be able to test the module we are just looking for obvious water damage.

The passenger compartment fuse box is located on the right-hand side trim panel in the footwell.
I have checked this, but all okay.

Lets try something with the car locked and security armed try pulling and pushing on the drivers door. My thinking is the micro switch in the latch could be going out causing the security system to get confused which will make the car not start. You will know if the status changes. (Alarms goes off) Please do all doors just incase.

Yes Ken, I have a problem with the door locks. It will not lock from driver door, it locks from left front passenger door normally only if I get inside the car. Also, locks open by remote and close again immediately after clicking the remote to open, have to be quick to pull and open the door.
The passenger door will not open by remote.

Dear Ken,

I have changed the door control module but it is the same, mean there is no fault with it. I guess the left rear door latch is bad. I will change it also with second hand working one and see if it works. I will let you know.

Dear Ken,

Good day,

I disconnect the battery and changed the two front locks and latches, it took almost one hour
changing it, again reconnect the battery and the complete locks on four doors are working perfect but the security light still blinking. Again I disconnect the battery and wait for twenty minutes and reconnect it, the security light went off and the car started normally.

I tried several times switching off the car and lock it, open it with the remote it is working perfect, running the engine, it runs normal, the security light on once and when engine starts the security light went off as it should be.

With your help (Ken) I did repaired my catalytic converter and I am so happy now. I would like to thank you very much my friend.

By the way, I will still test my car for few days and see if everything is fine and it will run smoothly and will be in contact with you all the way.

Thanks once again.

Ramzi

Basics first. Check for compression, fuel pressure and spark.

Car will not start for no apparent reason. Battery and all systems are working fine. Engine turns very good but will not start. After 20 or 30 minutes it will usually start right up as if nothing was wrong and run fine for several days and than out of the blue, it decides not to start. I think the fuel is being shut off as part of the anti-theft system?
