I am trying to flush my cooling system and the Haynes manual says there are coolant drain plugs on both sides of the engine block. I've drained what I can from the radiator plug but can't for the life of me find the engine block drain plugs. I think I've only got about 1/3 of the coolant out and want to finish the job. Anyone know where they are?

Remove your thermostat. Leave the upper radiator hose on. Stick a garden hose in the upper radiator hose. Turn on the garden hose. All the coolant will be flushed out. I hope this helps.
