1998 Questions for all other cars 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 68.000 miles

hi i was driving hom and went to park outside my ouse and my car just cut out. I started it up and it started to rev on its own thn just cut out? when reving if u put some gas on it it just revs higher and will stay there even if u tak ur foot off the gas pedal lol?

wot could be doing this, its auto as well?

A vacuum leak on the downstream side of the MAF sensor will cause this.
