I have recently bought a rover 620 sdi it gives a nice drivr but for the gear stick that rattles like hell when accelerating but is quiet when coastinf i.E using throttle to maintain speed only. The garae I bough it from are supposed to looking at it soon and I need some advice to ensure they do the job proerly can you help me

Hi jimbojumbo,

When gear stickss rattles most of the time is some worn gear shift linkage bushes. Gear change would be a little difficult as you need to find the correct spot and has a loose feeling.
