All but the driver power windows(4 door) have stopped working. They started to fail one a time. At first only the rear passenger side failed. I changed the switch with the other rear window switch and I could get it to run back up. After turning the car off it wouldn't go down. Then all the windows except the driver window failed. I installed a new window switch on the driver rear window and all the windows started to work. When I tried several hours later all but the driver window stopped working again. In addition the passenger lock will not lock the car doors. The key on the passenger side will lock all doors. This started at the same time as the window problem. All the fuses are OK.

Hi n9jc,

Check the driver door master switch. If it is faulty, it would not allow the other windows to work. It could be a bad ground or broken wire for power supply between the driver door and the other doors.

As to the door locks, does the driver door key and lock work correctly?

You mentioned the passenger door lock does not work the central locking but the key switch does. The key switch is good but the door lock switch is not. You would have to test the door lock switch.

Here is the wiring diagram and a guide on how to check the switch.

I should have mentioned that this actually all started after a repair was made to the troublesome left rear door. We just found out that they actually replaced the door rather then repair. I tried to take the door switch off on the drivers door but had trouble but once I replaced the switch the windows started working again. Thanks!

My 1994 Acura Integra LS was recently stolen. When we got it back; the Ignition was broken(replaced that) and the passenger side electric window wont work. No sound, no movement. Nothing.I took both door panels off and I could not see any wires that were broken or unplugged. Any suggestions how I can troubleshoot this problem?
P.S. I am horrible with electrical problems, novice at least!
Thanks,
Jeff

If you are not expierenced with electric then you need a shop to check the master switch, wiring and the motors. It could be any one of the items

Start by testing the motor. Use battery voltage to one terminal and ground the other. Reverse the polarity to confirm the motor is good.
