1994 Acura Integra vapor lock?

1994 Acura Integra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 136k miles

after sitting for 8 or so hours, my car will try to start then die suddenly. It will not start, but will turn over. I have to spray starting fluid in it to get it to start, once it starts, it runs beatifully, what causes this?

Seems you have a fuel problem and the symptoms described usually are caused by a bad PGM-FI main relay.

Remove the relay and check the circuit board for cracked solders at joints, resoldering them should colve the problem.

If the Check Engine Light does not go off after 2 seconds, then it could be the relay or the ECM. If the relay does not solve the problem then you would be looking at a rebuild of the ECM or a replacement part.
