Hello,
The engine will need spark and fuel to start.
When you turn on the key, can you hear the fuel pump come on?
An inoperative fuel pump can be due to a burnt fuel pump relay or a faulty fuel pump.
Check the relay, it is located under the dash on the left-hand side.
Inspect for any corrosion or burnt pins. This relay can also be tested:

If the relay is good check the wire harness to the pump. If it has power but the pump is not coming on then the pump is likely bad.

Also, you want to make sure that the spark plugs are producing spark. Simply take out one plug and crank the engine to see if it has spark.
No spark can be due to a bad distributor cap, rotor, or distributor. It can also be due to a faulty ignition coil.
I have attached diagrams for your reference.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
