A/C clutch not working

It will work as long as you have cold air. The moment it does not have cold air, remove the jumper wire and have the freon system tested for a leak and charged.

It will not hurt the compressor.

I have another question but it’s about a different car it’s a 2004 Ford Explorer do you think you can tell where the reverse gear signal wire is located at? I installed a reverse back up camera and I need to hook that wire up.
