Sounds like you have two issues. You could have an air door issue with the rear system and a front blower motor issue. Or you could have a freon/compressor issue and a blower motor in the front.
The fact that air does not come out of the front is where we should start. Let's check the operation of the blower motor by checking voltage at the blower motor.
You should have 12 volts on pin A and ground on B. If you do not then we need to go back in the system to see where we are losing it. If you do then the motor is the issue. Let me know what you find and we can go from there. If the blower starts working, does the front blow cold?
