will turn over fine on its own, but will not start?

If you jump it off it usually will start even though it was turning over strong on its own, and once started usually has no more issues until next day. Recently though jumping doesn't help and may not start soon after shutting it off it.

This sounds like a classic fuel pump failure, with the jump box on it the voltage is a little higher which makes the fuel pump work. Here is how you can change the pump out in the images below. Let me know how it goes.
