92 Mazda 929 drive fine parked it next day would not start

I have been driving my Mazda with no trouble at all. I had went to the store that evening came home as usual, parked it no issues. The next day I got up went out to start it and it wouldn’t start. It turns over, acts like it wants to start but doesn’t. Had one mechanic come out and he said it was fuel pump so switched that out and still issue. Then he said distributor cap so replaced that and the rotor and same issue. Mechanic quit responding to me. A family friend came out and said there was no spark getting to the distributor cap so don’t know what our next step should be
