Car would not start.

03 Mazda 6 2.3 start to crank engine. Tries to catch for one or two seconds then it just cranks. Turn key off try agian. Does the same thing. Checked fuel pressure, it is steady at 36 PSI while cranking. Replaced crank sensor, cam sensor and the ECU. No change. Put in new plugs coil and wires. No change. Car tries to start but just wont get there.

It has intermittent spark at injector pulse and at the same time, the spark plug loses spark at the same time the injector loses pulse and does not start.

My car will not start the lights will come on but the car won't start my locks won't work and neither does my seat we just replaced the battery with a new brand new one because the old one completely did not work now only my lights will work but as far as other electrical parts will not. What could be the problem?

I have an 02 mazda 6 with a 16v dohc 4cyl gas engine (production date 12/02) and a no start condition. Let me break it down for you because it is a little strange. First when you turn key it tries to start for just a second then dies almost as if it would start if you left the starter engaged for a longer period of time "this is not the case". Also "and here is where it gets odd" if you remove a spark plug wire "does not matter which one" and try to start it again it actually gets a little better and it will run for a few seconds then die again. I have done all the diagnostic I can think of. I.E.-Fuel pump sounds fine, pressure at rail, spark on all cylinders looks good, all fuses look good and I have voltage at all my injectors. Any help would be very appreciated.

No flashing security lights and no codes, I will check the rail pressure and injector pulse asap and let you know my results. Thanks for the help.

Hie Adam I would like to know what happened to your car I also own a 02/11 mazda 6 2.3 sport great car never gave me problems since last december when it landed from japan only last week my wife ran it empty then it cut out topped up now it doesnt want to start just cranks anytips from this forumn would be appreciated will only manage to check the car on the 17dec in zimbabwe and im curently in south africa.
