I replaced plugs for a neighbor in her 08 Ford Focus, when I replaced them I noticed some oil in the spark plug housing, I checked the oil and notice it was quite a bit over filled. I let her know and replaced the plugs, it started right up no problem and seemed to be running a bit better. She called me later to let me know the car had completely shut off. I went and tried to help it would turn over and crank but wouldn't start, I check the coils to make sure I had spark and I did on all 4. Next I tried spraying some starter fluid in, it started and shut off. So I replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rail and all four injectors and still can't seem to get it to start.

Hi BobBowen,

So it is clear there is no fuel. Have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it to see if your pump is even producing pressure? If not, have you checked the relay for the fuel pump? Also, there is a specific fuse for the injectors so that should be checked as well.

Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
