Hi there,

I would start with having a wet & dry compression test done as I feel that your problem will be ring related, if this is so, you should consider re building the engine.

My truck when started spits out a little white smoke, and also when accelerating after 3500 rpm in 1st through 3rd gear I think it may be the valve seals but im not sure, and how would I go about fixing this

White smoke indicates coolant is burning within the combustion chambers and Blue smoke is oil.

If its actually white could be the headgasket, cracked head or block and intake leak-is the engine temperature rising to an abnormal level?

No the temperature stays constant even with extended driving, and the coolant level doesn't change either

Good morning,

I attached some guides for exhaust smoke for you.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-black-smoke

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/blue-smoke-from-engines-exhaust

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/white-smoke-or-steam-coming-from-the-exhaust-pipe

White smoke is definitely burning coolant. If that is the case, a leak-down test needs to be done to determine the failure. In most cases, it is a head gasket.

If it is blue, it is the valve seals. They can be replaced without major work being required.
