A service traction system warning has appeared and I also have a jumping or jerking feeling while driving, what could that mean and how much should I be looking to spend to have it repaired?

If your traction control system and antilock brakes are working properly, this light simply means that your front tires have lost contact with the road.(Spinning tires) icy roads or bald tires are normal causes for this condition.

My Impala yesterday started making a popping noise in the speakers when you would use the power windows. Then today when you would crank up the car and release the emergency brake it would make a real loud popping noise through the car speakers. And I have too resett the clock three times on the radio when it does all of this. Also one time today when I crank it up the abs light and the trac off light came on and stayed on. And also the light on the information center was on and said check traction control. And it stayed on untill I cut the car off. And when I cranked it up again it didnt come back on.I have also checked the connections on the battery. And also the battery is good.I just put a new one in about three months ago

I would start with ground cables. Follow the negative battery cable to the transmission. On one of the transmiision bellhousing bolt there should be a couple of black wires. This is your main ground, check and see if it is tight. You may want to put a wrench on it to check.

The above light has come on for no apparent reason - dry pavement, slow speed, etc. All when turning a fairly hard left - out of a parking place & at stop signs. It goes right out, but it concerns me eventhough the owner's manual says there is a problem only if the light stays on. A kind of growling noise also accompanies the light while illuminated. I've checked tire pressure and have reset the tire monitor circuit, too. No codes are stored and the computer is up to date. Is something dying? Is it already dead? Is the car safe to operate? Oh yeah - original owner and no similar problems. Thanks in advance folks

What is the main reason for the message to appear on my instrument panel?
I have not been spinning my tires or driving in snow.

ABS and Service traction light is on after a brake repair--full front and back pads, rotors, fluid system flush. When the road is wet or I go thru a carwash the ABS and Traction system warning lights come on-this did not occur before the brakes were repaired. Also feels like the brakes are grinding and are very grabby. Any suggestions?

Just one, you probably paid a large bill for the brake repair, if you have a problem take it back, any reputable shop would have no problem rechecking the repair and even putting you in a rental if they need it for 1/2 day

Engine lite on, low tire pressure lite comes on, service traction lite on. When excelerating, car vibrates and wobbles until it reaches about 50 mph, wheels have been balanced, new front rotors and brake pads put on, motor mount bracket replaced on passenger side front and oil change do yesterday, what could be causing the wobbling vibration?

Check engine light on

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

The free scans are not going to work on the traction control system. As I stated, that requires a professional scan tool, not the generic code readers used at the auto parts store.

If ther is a problem with the abs system which would mean your brake light is on automatically disengages traction control so that could be the reason. Have it scanned by a pro to see what the problem is.
