camshaft sensor shuts down the engine?

The camshaft sensor shuts down the engine at 4,000 PPM. What is the cause and repair?

How do you know the cam sensor is doing that are you getting a code? If so here is the location of the camshaft sensor so you can change it out. Here is a guide for you to rear the codes in case you want to confirm the issue.
