Have a 2005 Renault Scenic DCI 1.5 Car is now a non-starter having had intermittent starting problems over the late summer. Several times only would start with a spray of Easystart. Been told that the timing has slipped. Is this a new engine or something that can be easily repaired?

If the engine starts and runs well, it should not be a problem with the timing. Since EasyStart was able to work, I believe the problem would more likely be fuel related.

Our database does not have any information on this vehicle so I am not able to provide any troubleshooting guides.

Get a scan done to see if you can retrieve any troble codes and proceed from there.
