Is it possible that my battery is so d drained that not even with jumping cable will not turn on the engine? For example, 2 weeks ago I forgot my headlights on for about five minutes it drained the battery. A guy jumped me up and everything was fine. The only thing I noticed was that the car was starting week every morning. Yesterday I when to work and at lunch time I when to start if, but my battery was drained. (I'm thinking it is the battery) but my friend came in to jump me up. The car will start strong but it doesn't turn on the engine.

Hello,

Just to clarify, when you try to jump start the vehicle, the engine will crank but not start? Or is it just making a clicking noise?

If it just makes clicking noise, then it could be a wiring issue from the battery to the starter or a bad starter.
First make sure that the battery cables are clean and secure. Check the cable to the starter as well.
It would be a good idea to replace the battery as you know it is weak and possibly bad.

If you are still just getting the click, then the start is likely bad and needs to be replaced.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
