I have a 2003 Chevy impala. I've recently been taking my engine apart to replaceall the gaskets because I have a blown one, either head gasket, manifold, or valve. Something deep inside the engine though four sure. I work to much to continue to keep working on it. If I was totake it to a shop about how much do you think it would cost me to get it fixed. Even with the majority of the motor takin apart. I have all the pieces separated in my trunk. I would just like to know what's cheaper. Me finishing it or taking it to a shop because I really need my car fixed.

Don't take this the wrong way but probably double what it would have been if you had them fix it in the first place. Now they can't even diagnose it properly. No tech wants to get a car in a basket.
