2002 Gmc Envoy Headlights Come On After Turned Off Mechanic Replaced Module

My headlights come on AFTER the Envoy is turned off. My GMC mechanic replaced the module but that didn't fix the problem and lights came on after I drove it home and shut it off. The mechanic is stymied and I'm wanting my car back and dependable. Is there anything else we should be looking for? Thanks

Body Control Module. Since its Saturday that's all the info I cud get.

no recals or tsb on this issue.

did he replace with new?? did he have it flashed???
