I have a coolant leak from an assembly located just above the starter. The hose goes from the thermostat housing to this T fitting around the back of the engine to the coolant fill tank. What is this assembly, no one can tell what it is called?

Sounds like it just one of the heater hose assemblies. Just look where the hose connects at both ends and explain that to the parts store and they will have diagrams to match up.
