How to replace fuel pump

Check under the rear seat and trunk to see if there is an access port to reach the pump. If there isn't you need to remove the fuel tank. Disconnect the battery before you start working. If you have an access port, simply remove the wiring to the pump, fuel lines, and then unscrew the locking nut that holds the fuel pump in the tank. Then the pump can come out. If you remove the tank, it is the same way. Make sure you clean all dirt off around where you are removing the pump so it doesn't get into the tank.
