Cruise stopped working. changed multi switch, didn't help, now break lights not working.

Cruise control stopped working. Replaced multi-function switch. didn't help. Any other thoughts?
Side note. now my break lights don't work. the window break light does.
The tail lights do. Not brakes.
I have not checked the bulbs yet. that will be first. Then check power to the light itself.
Just wondering if there is anything else weird to check.

might be a loose wire to brake switch check fuses underhood as there are two for brake lights. it could be a module for eht cruise, it really needs to be checked.

If the stop light switch goes out of adjustment or fails, the cruise would not work as well.
