Enter your question.2001 Chevy Lumina periodiclly will not start. No clicking or other sounds. Will not start, but an hour later starts as if nothing was wrong. Started doing this 2 years ago. Mechanic found some kind of short in the battery that was intermittent. Replaced the battery and the problem was cured for about 6 months. Problem has returned. Happens about 2 or 3 times a week. Battery cables are tight at the battery and the starter. Can you help?

There is a theft deterent relay abouve the glove box on the passenger side as well as a theft deterent module. One of those could be ad. There is also a 5a fuse in the fuse block on the right side of dash.
