My Silverado died. I quickly restarted it and it died again?

On my way to work the other day, my Silverado died. I quickly restarted it, and it died again. I put a couple of gallons of gas in it (because it was originally low on gas) and still nothing. I purchased a test light, and tested all of the fuses, and everything looked fine. Finally, I purchased a new Fuel Pump from Auto Zone and installed it (not my first rodeo either), and still nothing. Might I add, that before I installed the (new) fuel pump (after it started the first 2x) I was not able to get it started thereafter. So even after replacing the fuel pump, I have had no luck getting it started. I am sure the wiring to the pump is correct, and note that I did not hear the fuel pump click on when I was originally trying to determine what was wrong with my truck. This worries me because it is the way I make my money and feed my 6 children! I need to fix it ASAP! I have pretty basic mechanical skills and usually work on my own vehicles. This one has me stumped :( Any Suggestions?

Check and test ECM B fuse in underhood junction block and fuel pump relay-if okay have the computer fuel pump relay control circuit of the coil side of the relay checked

It's really exciting to know that your suggestion helped. I actually believe know that I may not have needed to replace the fuel pump at all, but rather, just the fuse (It was the ECM B (20))! I could have saved over $289.00, but I guess it's good I got a new one anyway. Thank you so much for your help, and I will DEFINATELY recommend your site to others, as well as come back myself if need be! Thanks again. Best regards! - JMC
