I have a 1999 plymouth voyager and had a no start problem, so I tuned it up. When I try'ed to start it, it did not start, but the van kept trying to start without the key in it. So I took off battery cables What could it be? Rick

What was the no-start symptom? Did the engine crank? A common problem is a no-crank due to worn solenoid contacts. Sometimes the plunger becomes wedged between the wear spots in those contacts resulting in the continuous cranking that you mentioned.
