My Tahoe is in shop now. Started out it would run for a second then die let it sit awhile then started right up. And would run just fine for quite awhile been doing this going on a year off and on. Now wont start at all they have checked the fuel pressure the ignition. The only thing I can think of is maybe the computer. The mechanic has had it little over 3 weeks now any answers.

If memory serves me right the fuel pump harness isn't good by the tank and the pump and harness about a foot have to be replaced because of a different connector and the harness is bad.

It could be the computer but hard telling if it is if you are getting ignition power then I'd say no sometimes the crank sensor gets to much stuff on it an dwon't work. But really can't think of anything else with out actually looking at it.

A lot of times cranks sensors won't pop up codes and need to be checked physically. They can build up varnish from oil on bottom and loose contact as they sit in timing cover on your truck. Also check dist rotor see if there is any play in it there should not be as there areno weights, if it turns or has play pull dist and check for gear being worn out.
